NSPCC Times Table Rockstars Day

Stamshaw Junior School are delighted to be supporting the NSPCC by taking part in Number Day

Children will take part in maths related challenges, puzzles and quizzes and take on other schools in a

Times Table Rock Stars competition The winning school wins a prize!!!

By donating just £1, we can help fund vital services such as Childline

We are inviting all children to put on their best rock costumes so they can rock out and crush some serious numbers!

Children’s Mental Health Week

Friday 10th February 2023

February 6th to February 12th is Children’s Mental Health Week, which we as a school advocate.

The theme this year is ‘connectedness’.

We will discuss mental health, what it is and ways we can equip the children to secure good mental health or seek help if they feel they need it.

To show our support for this topic, we are asking the children to wear their scarves to school for the day on Friday 10th February.

Tuck Shop Launch

Our School Council has exciting news – they are ready to start running a Tuck Shop.

To begin with we will only be running it for two days a week for particular year groups:

• Tuesday – Year 3 and 4 only
• Thursday – Year 5 and 6 only

Raisins, cereal bars and oatie biscuits will be available to buy

Prices will range from 10p - 35p
