Transition Mornings

On Monday 1st July and Tuesday 2nd July, pupils will be spending the morning with their new teacher.

Year 6 will attend their secondary schools for the whole day and must go directly to their new secondary school. They do not come to SJS.

 Running Out of Time Relay

Monday 1st July

The Running Out of Time relay baton will enter Portsmouth and pass Stamshw Junior School, on its extraordinary 2,436km route from Ben Nevis, Scotland to Big Ben, London.

Big City Read

Thursday 4th July 2024

Year 6 pupils

Each pupil will receive a paperback copy of David Baddiel's The Parent Agency, along with a copy of the School Library Service Moving On Year 6 to Year 7 transition book list.

All pupils will then get the opportunity to 'Meet the Author' David Baddiel at 11am through a livestreamed event.
