This year’s Dance Live! performance was a powerful celebration of creativity, teamwork and inspiration, proudly showcasing our concept: “Little People, Big Dreams.”

Our piece highlighted four remarkable figures: Marcus Rashford, Florence Nightingale, Frida Kahlo and Sir David Attenborough, chosen because their values closely reflect our school motto:
Be Kind, Do Your Best, Achieve Together.

Each week, 82 pupils rehearsed every Monday and Tuesday, demonstrating commitment and determination. Their hard work was supported by an incredible behind the scenes team, including a hair and make‑up team, backstage crew, lighting team and a dedicated videographer who all helped bring the performance to life.

On the night, the children truly embodied the spirit of the inspirational figures they represented. Everyone tried their best, supported each other, and showed kindness to every school they met, qualities that did not go unnoticed.

We were honoured to receive the Fellowship Award, voted for by other schools, in recognition of our pupils being kind, encouraging and polite. We were also awarded the Concept Award, celebrating the strength and creativity of our theme and performance design.

This year’s Dance Live! journey has been a wonderful example of what can be achieved when we work together.
