We arrived safely and were shown to our dorms. The children unpacked and were given a tour of the site and then we all enjoyed lunch. Everyone was very hungry.

We then had our first activity learning about migration and using map reading skills to find birds around the site. I’m not sure I’d ask them to help me if I was lost though!

Later we set out mammal hotels and are hoping to find some guests in the morning. 

Finally, we had supper, then some free time followed by a talk from a Wildlife expert. We then settled down for the night and hopefully some sleep.
